I had a surprisingly nice stay at the Standard West Motel, despite some initial worries from the reviews. The room was clean and came with a newly updated bathroom, a big plus for me. However, there were a few downsides, including a very uncomfortable bed and a major lack of amenities like a fridge. Overall, for just a place to sleep and shower, it was perfectly acceptable, but I think it could use some improvements.
